Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Foot Care Nurse?

A Foot Care Nurse is a healthcare professional who specializes in keeping your feet healthy and pain-free. They provide expert care such as nail trimming, callus and corn management, and prevention of common foot issues. They are especially helpful for people with diabetes, circulation concerns, or mobility challenges, ensuring your feet stay comfortable and protected.

Do you have a cancellation fee?

Yes. We kindly ask that all appointments be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee, as time is reserved specifically for you.

Why is it important to see a Foot Care Nurse?

Foot care isn’t just about comfort — it’s about preventing bigger health issues. Foot Care Nurses are trained to recognize early signs of infections, wounds, circulation issues, and other concerns before they become serious. They can provide education, nail care, corn/callus removal, and recommendations to keep your feet healthy and pain-free.

Who should see a Foot Care Nurse?

Everyone can benefit, but regular visits are especially important for:

- People with diabetes or poor circulation

- Individuals with arthritis, autoimmune disorders, or limited mobility

- People with poor eyesight or difficulty trimming their own nails

- Those with a history of foot ulcers or infections

- Dialysis patients

- Anyone looking to maintain healthy feet and prevent future complications

Are treatments covered by insurance?

Many insurance companies cover nursing foot care services. Coverage amounts vary depending on your plan, so we recommend checking with your provider before booking.
